Requirements

Description
This is an exciting internship opportunity for a self-starter who wants to learn about the financial services industry. Research Interns work to complete research and consultation requests for clients who are Institutional Investors, Consulting Firms and Corporations.
Requirements
- Assist in recruiting top industry practitioners and thought leaders into Guidepoint Global’s Network by locating appropriate professionals.
- Build and maintain relationships with Industry Experts in our Network of Advisors.
- Identify market trends.
Conduct ongoing research and analysis of current trends within various sub-sectors of the Energy/Industrials, Healthcare, Consumer Goods, Retail, Financial Services, Technology, Media and Telecom verticals
Qualifications
- Second, Third or final year towards a Bachelor’s Degree, or recent graduate.
- Ability to speak a second Asian language is a plus (particularly Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Thai or Vietnamese).
- Ability and willingness to make cold calls, speak with people at all professional levels, and sell the Network.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and high organizational skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere but also independently.
- Desire to learn about the business and to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

COMPLIANCE ASSOCIATE - NYC
The Compliance Associate is responsible for monitoring adherence to the firm’s Compliance Policy for global offices located in NY, London and Singapore.
Requirements
- Monitoring open projects and recently completed Client consultations;
- Assisting with the implementation and oversight of the firm’s compliance program;
- Reviewing and implementing customized compliance protocols;
- Reviewing internal applications to ensure adherence with the company’s policies and procedures;
- Participating in the creation and/or review of training and marketing materials; and
- Monitoring corporate portals/websites to ensure all content is current and accurate.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required
- 1-3 years of compliance-related experience
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and ensure deadlines are met
- Ability to work independently and yet still be team-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proactive, self motivated and well-organized.
