INSTITUTIONAL SALES - LONDON

This role will be responsible for initial sales with institutional money managers and/or hedge funds.  They will work closely with the Managing Director of Europe. 

 

Requirements

  • Build and maintain book of business consisting of Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Corporations, Mutual Funds and Consulting Firms clients.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the industries that Guidepoint Global covers.
  • Attend industry conferences and client breakfast and lunches that Guidepoint Global sponsors.
  • Identify cross selling and up selling opportunities.
  • Track client subscription renewal dates to ensure new contracts are renewed.
  • Monitor client usage to pro-actively promote subscription.
  • Introduce and market new Guidepoint Global products and services.
  • Build and maintain CRM database of assigned clients

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of institutional sales experience with an extensive book of business.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, both verbally and textually.
  • Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management.
  • Mature communicator capable of handling high-profile clients (Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Private Equity and Corporations).

Requirements

  • Develop a working knowledge of industry coverage and competitive landscape.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to generate leads via phone and email. Assist in follow-up on warm/existing leads.

As a senior level sales person, this individual would be a senior member of the firm.  They would be responsible for initial sales with institutional money managers and/or hedge funds.  They will work closely with the head of sales.  This individual would be responsible for maintaining a relationship with those Clients with the hope of increasing revenue and research coverage.   

 

Primary Responsibilities

The Senior Institutional Salesperson will have the following primary duties:

  • Build and maintain relationships with Buy Side Clients.

  • Attend industry conferences and Client breakfast and lunches that Guidepoint Global sponsors.

 

Requirements

Description
Guidepoint Global is seeking a Mid level .Net Developer in the New York area. The responsibilities offer an opportunity to work on complex development projects in a highly collaborative team environment. The developer  will play a key role in helping our development efforts and building our portfolio for a custom enterprise data analytics platform, custom algorithmic and statistical data analysis and design of complex charts and graphs to visually represent diverse data sets.   Analyze, design, develop and troubleshoot new and existing applications according to established specifications.

 

Qualifications

  • Must have 3yrs+ experience in C#, VB .Net and NET 3/3.5 +, Web applications and Windows application. Experience using LINQ and AJAX.
  • Possess a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Object Oriented Design and good coding practices.

Description

Senior Research Managers work in completing research and consultation requests for clients (analysts, portfolio managers, management consultants) who are typically conducting research and due diligence on topics such as industry trends, market opportunities, and new products and technologies.

 

Responsibilities

The TMT Senior Research Manager will have the following primary duties:

  • Maintain relationships with our clients in the investment, consulting, and corporate communities.

Description

The Survey and Market Research Group produces comprehensive survey reports and conducts custom consulting projects for the healthcare focused community and for Clients who wish to understand trends in technology, media, retail and other non-healthcare related markets.

 

Requirements

  • Manage complex online survey and market research projects throughout the entire project life cycle. Tasks include:
    • Edit survey questionnaires to fit respondent-friendly formats and programming formats.
    • Work with programmers to coordinate and test programming of questionnaires into online survey formats. 
    • Research, identify, and recruit appropriate respondents needed to meet quotas for survey recruiting.
    • Manage relationships with survey respondents and answer all technical and non-technical questions pertaining to the survey.
    • Analysis of large quantities of data from surveys into client-deliverable formats using SPSS, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Work with the Director or Senior Analyst or independently with Clients throughout the survey lifecycle to ensure Client needs are continually met.

Description

Requirements

The Compliance Associate is responsible for monitoring adherence to the firm’s Compliance Policy for global offices located in NY, London and Singapore. 

 

Requirements 

  • Monitoring open projects and recently completed Client consultations;
  • Assisting with the implementation and oversight of the firm’s compliance program;
  • Reviewing and implementing customized compliance protocols;
  • Reviewing internal applications to ensure adherence with the company’s policies and procedures;
  • Participating in the creation and/or review of training and marketing materials; and
  • Monitoring corporate portals/websites to ensure all content is current and accurate.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required
